Hinge is a physiotherapy and sports rehab clinic in Leeds. We find out what's wrong, explain it in plain English and give you a plan you can actually follow at home.

Knee flexion is one of the first things we measure. Scroll to bend it.

Where does it hurt?

Tap an area to see what we treat there most often, and roughly how long it takes to get better.

What we often see

Knee

  • Runner's knee
  • ACL and meniscus rehab
  • Arthritis pain

Anything from three sessions to a sixteen week return to sport plan.

What happens at your first visit

  1. 1

    We listen

Tell us what hurts, when it started and what you want to get back to. It's the longest part of the session and the most useful.

  2. 2

    We look

Movement tests, strength checks and hands-on assessment, so we can find the cause and not only the sore spot.

  3. 3

    We explain

You leave knowing what's wrong, how long it should take and what will make it worse, written down in your plan.

  4. 4

    You start

Three or four exercises to begin with, filmed on your phone so you can follow them at home.

I'd put off coming in for a year. Six sessions later I ran the Leeds 10K and my knee didn't complain once.
